UPDATE: and the winners are...
The judges at Santa Monica Studio have voted and the winners of the God of War Anniversary Photo Mode Contest are...🥁
Well done also to the other finalists, any one of the 20 could have been a winner, and of course to everyone who took part, the response was fantastic with almost 800 entries received and a superb level of quality throughout. Inevitably, some great shots had to miss out but the finalists and winners were selected based on quality, creativity and what we felt really showed a connection with the game.
Thank you, until next time!
In celebration of the 1st anniversary of God of War on PlayStation 4, TheFourthFocus and DotPone are proud to work with Santa Monica Studio and Cook & Becker Next-Gen Art to bring you a new photo mode contest.
God of War has been a fantastic success over the last 12 months, selling millions of copies and rejuvenating a beloved franchise with glorious new life and more thoughtful tone. Despite leaving the Greek Pantheon behind, Kratos remains as popular as ever and his new adventure through Norse mythology along with son, Atreus, has scooped countless awards, including 5 categories at the recent BAFTA Games Awards. So what better way to celebrate than through the dedicated creativity of the virtual photography community and with the finest quality prints from the incredible digital and video game art specialists, Cook & Becker.
Entries are now open and we invite you to submit up to 4 of your very best photo mode captures from God of War. New shots are encouraged but you can also enter existing work, just make it something that shows us what you love about the game and make Kratos proud!
